Katy's Korner is a cozy, locally known spot on San Ramon Valley Blvd serving up a wide range of American breakfast and lunch classics with a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere. Perfect for early mornings or weekend brunches, this small restaurant creates a homey setting with warm, inviting décor and charming details like framed art that add a personal touch to the space.

The menu offers both straightforward and slightly creative takes on breakfast staples—think corned beef hash, huevos rancheros, classic French toast, and more hearty options such as the country fried steak and eggs or Santa Fe Benedict. While most guests appreciate the consistency and freshness of the dishes, experiences vary, especially with some items like the Benedict occasionally missing the mark. Potatoes here tend to be a highlight, well-seasoned and done just right, complementing omelets and scrambles nicely.

Expect attentive and friendly service without feeling rushed or crowded, even during popular morning hours. The owner’s presence adds a personable layer to the experience, often helping guests find their spot and making kids feel at ease with little extras like toys. Parking availability is ample, which makes it convenient for families or groups stopping by for a casual meal.

This spot resonates well with locals seeking a hearty breakfast or lunch in a place that balances a straightforward menu with a friendly, relaxed pace. It suits those who appreciate a no-fuss environment where the focus is on classic comfort food and a welcoming neighborhood vibe. While mornings are a prime time to visit—especially if you want to avoid a rush—weekends attract a lively mix of regulars and families enjoying their day out.

What a delight! The ambience is warm, welcoming and fun. Service was top notch - attentive, friendly, not intrusive. Standard & creative food options for breakfast through lunch- and the food was perfect. I had an egg-white veggie omelet with potatoes- perfectly done & seasoned. Daughter had a burger- she wished it had some sauce (I’m happy without sauce) but ended up happy with ketchup & mustard. Price for 3 people was reasonable. Will stop by again if we ever travel that direction.

Known in the area but if you’re passing by give them a try. the atmosphere is nice and everyone is friendly.the owner was present and asked where we would like to sit. Waiter was nice and took care of everything with a timely response. Our breakfast was delicious and all 3 dishes did not disappoint. Plenty of parking and kid friendly.

It’s a good place to have breakfast or brunch . Tiny and cozy place . Apart from food , I like all the hanging frames ——————————————————— Updated comment : I strongly advise against ordering the Benedict here. I visited early in the morning around 8 AM to avoid the crowd, but was still served undercooked potatoes. The atmosphere deserves a solid 4 out of 5, but the food only rates a 2 out of 5. Please focus on properly preparing the meals—customers deserve good value for their money.

Unbelievable and family atmosphere. The manager is Icelandic and brings his European charm and quality to his food and service. Once seated made sure kids were comfortable with toys and servers were prompt. Reasonable priced.

Katy's Korner, our 1st visit. We absolutely loved it. We are from Indiana and out in California for a family vacation. I am sure the locals already know, but if you are in San Ramon, they have breakfast and lunch only. We'll worth it.

Visiting the area and wanted a good breakfast place. Reviews did not lie; was greeted by the owner and immediately seated. Service was fast and attentive, I was really impressed. Food, ambience, location, service, experience are 100%. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband’s favorite breakfast place. This serves our favorite pancake and crab omellete, with a side of sourdough and potatoes. The portion is huge. The restaurant is a local and homey restaurant. Try to go early as you could wait a bit, depending on the time of day you go, which for us, is always when everyone is already there.
